Keatky has been leading Strategy and Digital Innovation at RHB Insurance Berhad (RHBI) since 2022. In this role, he drives the formulation and execution of strategy, proving that ‘insurance’ and ‘innovation’ can certainly belong in the same sentence. Under his leadership, RHBI earned its first-ever industry recognition in Digital Adoption and Digital Transformation in 2025, a milestone that demonstrated how ideas can translate into meaningful impact to everyday lives.

Entrepreneurship has also been part of his journey. Keatky co-founded a fintech startup that took the age old concept of barter trade and gave it a digital twist, helping micro and small businesses at the bottom of the pyramid ease cash flow through tokenization and blockchain. Before that, he founded a consultancy firm working with traditional insurers to reshape their distribution and operating models, a venture that proved both valuable and rewarding. These ventures are grounded in his 20+ years of corporate experience in financial services across the region, where he has worn many hats, each adding a new perspective to his journey.

Outside the boardroom, Keatky believes in being a corporate athlete, convinced that an active body nourishes a creative mind. He thrives on crossing marathon finishing lines for the adrenaline rush (and the occasional bout of self-questioning mid race). These days, his energy is mostly spent at the ‘kitchen’ where strategy and reflexes collide with just as much intensity and the odd lucky pickleball shot keeps him hooked.
